- HDR is no longer supported for certain combinations of HiDPI and refresh rate.
For example, HDR is not available for 2K HiDPI with 120Hz on a 4K monitor.
- Reducing the refresh rate or resolution may work. e.g. reducing refresh rate
to 100Hz, or the resolution to 2432 \* 1368.
- Certain HDMI 2.1 adapters that support 4K@>=120Hz can solve this problem
with more bandwidth.

- Download `xquartz` for `X11Forwarding` with [[ssh|SSH]]. Need to also enable
"Allow connections from network clients" in XQuartz.
- macOS has a notoriously low max file descriptors value. Raise this limit with
`sudo launchctl limit maxfiles <soft-limit> <hard-limit>`
