.mkv files can’t be used in Final Cut Pro, need to remux it into .mov.
Final Cut Pro sometimes misunderstood the framerate of media remuxed from .mkv as 23.81fps.
```
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -c:v copy -c:a pcm_s24le output.mov
mp4fpsmod -i -r 0:24000/1001 output.mov
```
The above command can be used to fix the framerate.
